These terms apply to your use of sandiegoalphas.com, the event and fundraising pages operated by San Diego Alpha Foundation ("the Foundation," "we," "us"), and our text messaging program. By using these services, you agree to these terms.
Text Messaging Program
Program name: San Diego Alpha Foundation Alerts
What you'll receive: messages about our events and fundraisers, such as the Holiday Scholarship Ball and MLK Weekend, including event reminders, auction and bidding notifications, donation receipts and confirmations, and program updates.
How you opt in: you consent to receive texts by entering your mobile number and checking the consent box when you register, bid, or donate on our event pages. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation.
Message frequency: varies. You will typically receive more messages in the days around an event.
Cost: message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for your plan's details.
Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further texts unless you opt in again.

Carriers: wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: see our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Donations and purchases
- Donations are processed through our fundraising provider, OneCause, and are subject to its terms.
- Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 30 days at zsl1906sd@gmail.com.
- Auction bids are binding offers. Winning bidders agree to pay the final bid amount.
- We will provide receipts for donations. Please consult your tax advisor about deductibility.
Events
Event details, including dates, venues, and programs, may change. If an event is cancelled, we will notify registered attendees using the contact information provided.
Website content
Content on this website, including text, images, and logos, belongs to the Foundation, the Zeta Sigma Lambda Chapter, or Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and may not be used without permission. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Our website and services are provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, the Foundation is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, our events, or our text messaging program.
